How do i know? all i know is what bikes i have owned, they could have
been anything made by anybody, i dont think there was a black bike there
but to be honest i was not looking at the bikes after all.

as I'm sure you know, it's better to regret having done something
rather than regretting not having done something.

.... and it's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission.

    I used to think that.

And then I reached the level were I can get permission[1] for almost
    anything I can think of.

[1] all changes within my sub-department must be authorized. I am the
    authorizer.

    forward to watching it.

I've got it ripped on my HTPC, in Bluray (from LoveFilm), but haven't
got round to watching it yet. No sure when I'll be in the mood for
    it.

I watched the Diving Bell and the Butterfly last weekend. I enjoyed,
but wouldn't rave about it the way you did. You're obviously more
    sensitive than me.

I parsed that as 'or wait until she's a sheep', which fair boggled me.

My philosophy exactly - especially as I have yet to seriously regret
    having done anything.

Funnily enough, I found my first exception here on ukrm last week. I
decided I could conceivably regret going round the Nurburgring with
Pat as pillion far more than I'd ever regret not doing it.
