Well I failed, 2 minor for positioning for a turn, and one
serious failing to go on a green filter to the road (at the end
of the test) into the guildford test center. It was one of those LED
green arrows and I thought the sunlight was reflecting off it very dim,
    but it was on.

Anyway rebooked for March 14th in Aldershot.

**** who designed those needs shooting IMVHO.

Bugger. Still, two minors is really good!

I've got my 2nd test booked for 8th March. Wish you luck.

  4. Well I failed, 2 minor for positioning for a turn, and one
Miserable - I feel for you. I finally passed on my fourth attempt, failed
twice in Wales and once in Reading. Basingstoke was good though. Keep
going - it is so good to ride. My only problem is I am only allowed out if
it is over 5 degrees, I have a protective hubby, so havent yet managed to
take it in to work for a full week. Roll on the good weather, or even the
mediocre weather - I am desperate!!

    Good luck.

The consequences of an error are greater.

FWIW, I got two minors when I passed my test in 2001 - one for cutting a
corner slightly, the other for putting the bike in gear with the sidestand
down, causing it to stall (after having done the U-Turn etc).

Well, compared my my last fail sheet with seven minors and two majors.
    :)

I got one minor when I passed my car test which I'm quite proud of.
Generally, it appears that the "average" number of minors for a car
driver is about 5-7 (according my my old instructor) but it appears
that the level of minors that a motorcycle rider gets is a lot less.
I think that speaks for itself.

  11. Ha! A good bone is definitely surplus to requirements, how do you think I
am entertained during these cold evenings (thanks for the offer if it was
    one though).

As for backbone, I am still a novice and take advice from those far more
experienced than I am. I may not take the advice with good spirit or humbly
but hell, I am not completely stupid. I had great advice on here when I
was taking my test and I really appreciated it.

    Cheers
