It might be a good idea to take out the embedded Quicktime link and give
buyers an option to download if they wish to - I thought there was
something wrong with the page, until I looked at my activity monitor and
realised that my browser was downloading an 8.7mb Quicktime movie! - If
I'd been looking from my mobile connection, I'd have been _very_ pissed
off at the £8.70 it had just cost me to download it!

I thought about that but decided against it. I took out the message warning
    56k chavs too. ;-)

Does anyone browse ebay on a moby?

I do during the week. I use a GPRS connection on my mobile whilst
staying in the hotel. Tend to turn off pics and stuff, but if I'd
    forgotten.......

You would only have yourself to blame.

Thats a bad idea, I certainly wouldnt look at any page that forced you to
    load an 8.7mb file.
You are going to lose potential buyers if you keep it on the page.

  7. It's not too bad - the whole page and jpegs come down as normal and you
can just halt the download at that point.

Bit like buying the wrong bottle of wine in a restaurant really.

Are you never going to let that one go?

I don't think I've referred to it before so it's a bit rich to ask if
I'm "never going to let that one go".
