Exactly. I think it is acceptable to get a price I want, rather than
selling them for $20.

 

Its against Ebays rules to end auctions cause you "sell it
elsewhere"..

also the reason most people never bid on things with that written, who
could be fucked, you never even know if you really stand a chance.

This is aus.motorcyles - out of 20 replies - likelyhood is
that 19 of them will hang some sort of shit on you. This is because
you have posted rignt in the middle of Harsh Week (tm) and thereby
leaving yourself right open to ribbing. It also pays (if you are a
newbie) to wear a very thick skin until you get to know the lads /
ladettes, then you will only get 16 out of 20 replies taking the piss

After near on 20 years of riding bikes and meeting the best people at
many a bike rally it really concerned me that people were like this
online. I picked the wrong week to give to join up !!

Oh and the beers n cigar's are on me coz I just had a new baby
daughter born this morning at 6.30am - hence getting rid of the
motorcycle memorabilia to replace with pink doll pictures n stuff !!

I paid about $200 each for them back in 92/93 when they came out and I
thought they may have appreciated since then - obviously the market is
saying otherwise.

Maybe my little girl will like them better than doll pictures !!
