I loved Champs, after I rode it on a Black Horse CIHAGM, many moons
ago.

Considering I was riding it back to back with the Blackbird, I was
surprised how it just kept gathering torque as the revs climbed.

No significant turbo lag either. Just WFO and <grin>.

I'd love Adies bike, but at the price it was originally up at,
cashflow and HM's dole office said "no".

Adie bought this bike from me, I added lots of new parts as it had been
stood for some time before being resurrected and sold to me.

Email me for details I guess if interested. Nothing bad, I just spent a
lot of money on parts, didn't use it much and sold it on.

 

which is pretty much where I am with it now. its being used as a
ground anchor for the R1.

why have you described it as BLACK (your caps) when it's clearly red?

 

Red tank, red fairing, red mudguard, red wheels.

In my world the colour of the frame/engine/seat doesn't count as the
"colour of the bike".
