Buy the bike and I'll see what I can do (I know a few likely lasses).
    I'm all for sales incentives.

I notice you're not including the original (and presumably only road-
legal) endcan with the bike. Maybe that's why it's not selling.

Oh dear. I've got a TPFT quote for 740 quid[1]. Good job it's not on
    the cards just yet.

I hadn't thought of that, it's a fair point though as whoever buys it
will have to get it through the MOT. Probably a bit late to change the
auction now but if it gets relisted I think I'll just bundle it all
    together.

That's pretty much how I ended up buying it - I got an insurance quote
at less than £500 and realised that for the first time a litre bike was
a viable proposition. After that it would've been rude not to!

Fascinating really - from the thread subject I'd guess it's a moped or
    something like that.

Out of interest what would be a reasonable price for the original end
    can?

    Certainly would.

As it is I'm feeling slightly guilty about not buying a Daytona.

Fair play, MC Direct have just quoted me 600 quid tpft for a 2001
    GSXR1000.

    Hmmmm.

FFS Des. Do you actually *read* the subject line
or do you want everything spoonfed to you?

Quite. And anyway, he doesn't know I pinched the keys and had a go
    when we were in Spain.

Have done. You're still an idiot for not reading the

Don't! You're scaring away the lurkers.. Anyway, it's completely
unfeasible, like you'd be seen on a blade.

I rode Daz's at the BoSM. S'ok as long as I have a dark visor on.
