Cheers Timo, my lad has already seen it and has been giving it the "we
should buy that for when I've done my test" bit.

It does look lovely, but it isn't going to happen, especially as I have
spent all afternoon with the fairing off the NSR fitting a Jolly Moto
exhaust to it (slag of a job).

I think he got that wrong - if anything it would be for *you* when he
    passed his test.

I just love this line in the eBay write-up.

"The bike is in very good condition and over the two years I've owned it
proved to be the most reliable bike I've owned, which resulted in no end
    of amusement for my mates."

    Class :)

  8. Made me chuckle, too. I saw you'd borrowed some stuff from my Saab
auction as well, re the scammers.

I did? I think I came up with this independently as I've never even
looked at your SAAB auction. Mind ewe, there are only so many ways to
express your feelings about that particular matter...

  15. Ah, apologies. No matter.

The ad made me laugh, anyway.

Yep, 'merican bloke from the Bimota mailing list bought it. Now for
the painful part - arranging the payment. At least it looks like he's
got the address of a shipping company that'll just come and pick up
the bike with no further hassle for me.

Thanks. I hate those vehicle ads that are written all caps with zero
content by a person whose spill chucker committed seppukku out of
    desparation.

So I tried the slightly different approach. Seems to work...
