I was *so* tempted to keep it as a commuter and flog the XT. I actually
drafted the XT auction page, pix and all, and put it on a delayed start.

I stuck the GS up with an £899 starting price and no reserve. It got the
one bid, and sold, which suggests that this was indeed its value....

 

If it's actually past Cambridge then watch out for a huge black Guzzi:
he very dangers on road...

 

don't know about a black guzzi but there are a number of complete
nutters on bikes that I see on my stretch of the A14 and it never ceases
to amaze me that I do not pass them later spread liberally across the
road especially given the high incidence of numpties, dick brains and
fuckwits in cars, vans and lorries trying to cut their way through the
traffic by constantly changing lanes to gain a 10 foot advantage.
