Worked fine here, but it was a clean install of XP Pro.

I've installed it on 2 out of 3 XP computers I use daily. The one that
hasn't been done is only "so" because I can't get hold of the discs I
need to reinstall should something go wrong. As I can't afford an
indefinite pause to my work I'm going to hold fire until I've got the
    discs.

On the two others it went on fine with no problems. I also put it on a
third low-spec machine and that's still happy too.

    My list, so far, is:

    1. The 3 devices I have connected to my USB hub (2 printers and a scanner)
    have all stopped working.

    2. Outhouse Excess can no longer ROT13 messages.

    3. Last night OE suddenly refused to display messages, claiming it was out
of memory; it's never done that before.

    4. My broadband connection always fails at its first connection attempt
now, but works on the 2nd.

    So, not _too_ bad.

Is it just me or are sincere apologies really going down hill these days?
