Dumped the Deauville in traffic @ about 25mph (diesel spill) and have
damaged forks, yolk, panels and h/bars. Slid a short distance, picked self
and bike up and drove 150 miles home before realising was leaning lower at
the front. Next day @ casualty found sprained ankle, cracked rib and some
undiagnosed problem with knee (have to go back when swelling has gone
    down).......
Incredible amount of damage for such a little spill IMO.........

That's a tough break (ooh wrong word to use :)). Did you seriously not
realise you had a cracked rib until the next day? Mind you can't do
    anything about it anyway.

My dad got knocked off his Deauville a couple of years ago and that
caused a huge amount of damage. Bummer!

Well, you can get a decent bike now and damage yourself even more
    severely....

    Oh, and GWS.

GIT bored us all completely to death with wittery prose along the lines
    of:
Ooops, GWS. Watch it with the knee, as that'll take bloody ages to sort
    itself out. DAMHIK,IJD,OK.

  8. As in when using French toilets (hole in the floor) and forgetting your
wallet is in the back pocket of your jeans.

No it wasn't me, but I know a man who has!

GIT was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
Get a Pan, they crash better than that. BTDTGTT.

    GWS, BTW.
