Exchange for Beer Tokens.

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by steve auvache, Jun 9, 2005.

  1. 1 Halfords Twin Barrel Footpump, in the One True Colour.

Rated to 100[1] PSI this almost unused item can be had in exchange for a
beer token, or even the beer itself I ain't fussy. I can deliver local
    or UR it.

[1] I have done tests and I estimate that assuming the maths is linear
then in order to get 100 psi out of the useless bloody thing you would
need to weigh a tad over 400lbs when jumping up and down on it. I
shudder to think what it would be if it were a square law that applies.

I really don't think it would be a suitable[2] toy for any ukrmer
    weighing less than 16 stone.

[2] Recommendations for best Domestic Electric ones appreciated.

Ah, UR it is then (to Bristol!)

Sadly, yes. But I also don't forsee a need to inflate stuff to 100psi, so I
might get away with it even if I lose some weight!

Anybody know the nearest functioning westbound distribution point for
the next two weeks from here, otherwise it will have to wait until I go
to Snetters at the end of the month?

I may be at Pixie Central in the very near future, so can relay to the
    western end of the M4.

Close enough! Ta. Give us a shout when you're back.

Steve, let me know an appropriate level of tokenage.

    Cheers.

So all I have to do is get it over to there. It would be worth the ride
just for a letch at Elly.

Whatever. Buy me a beer when you see me and be grateful if you don't.

Heh! Sally has all sorts of fun trying to inflate her tyres with one of
those. She's getting quite good at balancing on the pedal on one foot.

    You miserable old git.

An OSM without Auvache is like a fish without a bicycle.
