I've seen enough of his jumps where he seems to have landed just fine but
then Omigod! He's crashed.

IIRC he crashed down a ravine after completing the jump. Evel would have
crashed straight away and have been tucked up in an ambulance long before
any ravines hoved into view.

 

Hey, I didn't say anything about Dan this time.

 

I noticed one of his bikes (mid way through the doc) was a Laverda 750.

Another bad choice.

I helped to build the ramp on the Wembley gig and he did the dress
rehearsal no probs... he definitily did not intend to crunch... the
first jump, that the public didn't see, went smooth as you like, sheer
class... still got the autographed T-shirt framed upstairs...
