Fooking brilliant last corner strategy

I watched the repeat; absolutely brilliant but nothing happened on the
last bend.

Seems the 11 O'clock repeat was the 89 season opener from Suzuka

 

Bastard. I'd have watched that if I'd known/realised.

The 9:00 one was pretty basic fayre until the last lap when Schwantz gained
on Rainey, who then tried a *tad* too hard to keep him from passing managed
to run off the line, giving Schwantz one opportunity to pass, which he did.
Won by a bike length or so, but Rainey was fucking gutted (as anyone would
be)

 

That, as they say, is racing.
