Euro-Hondas and ABS...

  1. Interesting. The new Honda Hornet 600 in Europe (which, IMO, looks a
lot worse than the previous one, and goes back to a conventional
exhaust. But does have an ajustable seat) and the new CB5 both
    include optional ABS.

No word yet on pricing, but I think it will be an interesting
expriment to see if/how well ABS sells on the honda "real world"
    roadbike line.

The fazer 600/FZ6 will probably blow it away in sales, however: The
fazer has 1 gallon more in the gas tank, probably a good 10 hp more, a
much stiffer aluminum frame, etc etc tec.

And for those speed junkies, the new CBR1000 (which is keeping the
    Fireblade name in europe)

Altohugh looking at it, I have a hunch the R1 will be a bit more
popular, because the R1 is a lot slimmer (frame OVER rather than
around engine, engine narrower too, I think), and IMO, looks better.

The electronic steering damper looks interesting tho.
