It's insurance time, & ebike are currently coming in at £135 less than
Auntie, with a lower excess. I presume this would be more than enough
to cover an annual European breakdown policy covering two bikes, which
appears to be the only thing I'd lose by switching to ebike?

Has anybody ever put in a claim to eBike? I am insured THPT with them in a
month by month basis (Canceling next month as MOT runs out so bike goes to
    bed until March.)

£59 gets you Europ Assiastance policy from quotelinedirect.co.uk

I have one for my car.

I also have an Auntie policy on the bike which includes a Europ Assistance
    policy.

Both policies have the same level of cover. The cover is excellent. So good
that I have never needed to phone them. Long may it continue.

I got a quote from Ebike. Very cheap. However, I wasn't happy with the
territorial limits. Their policy is EU countries only i.e. no cover for CH,
    AND, FL, N, HV etc.

As I was off to Croatia I had to pay extra for cover with Royal Sun
    Alliance via Auntie.

    Sounds like a bargain.
Ah, CH & AND could well be a problem :-/

Thought it might be. Timo was praising the low quote from Ebike until I
pointed out he wouldn't be able to ride to see his mum in CH.

Fucking hell, are these people any good? They're coming out at £250 less
than CN for with significantly less excess also. Like you I'd lose
breakdown cover, but I'm not sure I'm bothered about that. Looks too good
    to be true.

You also lose CIHAGM cover, but that is something you can now get from
them for a small fee. You can also get fully-comp insurance for another
bike at www.dayinsure.com on a daily basis.

I covered my bike with eBike last week because the savings were just too
    good to ignore.

Actually, with hindsight I could've taken one of the classic bikes as
    they're on a CN policy...

It's more of a pain in the bum not to have any breakdown cover outside
the UK as the 59 quid quoted above were pretty much the difference
    between the two quotes...

But a GSA is born for blatting about CH
It's a good benchmark to judge the "saving" offered by other insurance
brokers. Bennetts & Hastings Direct usually undercut Auntie in cash terms
    but its always been £<59

Well yes, but then again the Ducati wouldn't be too bad either. I just
wouldn't fancy trying to get that into my mum's bike parking facility...
Funnily enough I'm one of those people who get the "**** off" type
quote from Bennetts. Probably because I iz foreign or summat.
