Two minutes from Sutton to Derby?

That'd have to be some kind of rocket ship.

It used to take me about 3 hours to get to Derby on a 400 from

I'll have you know that I put the rear wheel of my bike back on and
didn't have parts left over[1] when I'd finished.

[1]Although I did have to take the wheel off and put it back on again
as I forgot to put the chain back on.

    The Older Gentleman says...
She passed this way and got a puncture at Toddington services. Matt and
I popped down with the spare wheel you supplied, and she set off home
    with that fitted.

That was a couple of hours ago.

  15. 'Kin'ell. Bwaaahahahahahahahahah!

Before she left The Chateau, she said, portentously: "Timo *looked* at
the bike. I'm doomed!" Or words to that effect.

Timo was helping me remove the engine from the donor GPz550, you see.
Interestingly, motorcycles come apart very easily with Timo on the
    scene.

Just as well I threw in the spare wheel, methinks.

  19. An apprentice did that to me in Sydney once. I did vaguely notice the
stepped apacer on the floor but it looked like a socket so it didn't grab
my attention. A few weeks later I was wondering why my rear axle nut
    kept working loose...
At least the shop recovered the bike from where it finally got too
bad to ride, and fitted a new spacer and sprocket-carrier bearing.
