    and others.

I am going ahead as planned with the Team UKRM video but at Champs
suggestion we are going to focus on the 24hr. I would like to get as
full a crew as possible for this and would love to hear from any
industry professions or anybody who just wants to play, especially those
    with their own kit.

It is not just me though. Champs was explaining some of the simpler
logistics to me and for the 24 *WE* can probably make a difference in
the race if *WE* turn up and help.

Question - do you know if you have to pay an entrance fee to watch the
    practice sessions on the Saturday?

Oh christ, I dunno. <thread merge> Maybe we'll have to get everyone
to sign a disclaimer before they get a cup of tea.

    Actually, no.

I just phoned up and booked us in, and they said that they don't
    charge admission on test days.

Race day tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the gate.

Champ emerged from their own little world to say
They said someone had been killed on the BBCWales news yesterday. I did
wonder if you knew the rider as the event was sponsored by Frasers
    according to Pembrey's website.

    It's on their website now:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_west/4367291.stm

The comment from the Council bloke is a bit daft:
"We are working very closely with the police and the coroner's officer to
    establish the cause"

5 bikes collided on a race track. Act of terrorism obviously.

Yeah, sorry. I decided I'd reply to it at home, cos then I'll have a
copy, rather than using the crappy webmail interface I have to use at
work. And I'll have time to think about what I'm writing too.

Fucking good job you hadn't signed him up, really.

What a shit, though - the headstone: Died at Pembrey.

  12. Could manage any of these.
I think you'll find it also attracts unwelcome attention from the chip
vans etc who pay their fees to be present at race meets. ICBW, but you
can't just set up a stall.

Got a Sony digital video wotsit and could be tempted. Let me know if you
need the camera (unfortunately, I come attached), a bit nearer the time...

Excellent stuff. As Champs has already mentioned someone, anyone, who
can operate a camera would a distinct bonus.

I am sure various calls to arms from various sub committees will be
going out over the next couple of months. Ours will just be one of
    them.
