ER-5 not starting

    I've no idea how to do any of that, but it's working now. It's going
    in for a service within the next month anyway.

    Ok. It only takes a little water sitting at the bottom of the float bowl
    to give you troubles. As the petrol is drawn from the bottom of the
    float bowl, water and other nasties get sucked up. Also, if your plugs
    are in need of changing, that will affect sparking more so when cold
    too. All which doesn't contribute to easy starting...

    Your bike is telling you to get it serviced. :)
