Anyone currently know what the beer garden is like because of the
weather? Just thinking about the tent for when I arrive tommorrow.

Well after the soaking I just got riding 10 miles home from work I'm going
to be the first to bottle it and wimp out of this weekend.

Apologies to my millions of fans who were hoping for a rare glimpse of me,
but I'm going to get hammered in the dry instead.

You don't own a decent set of waterproofs?
Well I've cancelled the air tickets, but I'll be sending you the bill
for the cancellation fee, you bastard.

That's only about 17 more miles than I'll be doing.

    And it's "unspoiled", not "undeveloped".

Na naa, you're nearer to Des than I am.

  14. I'm wholly undecided on whether to take the bike or the cage at the moment.

Seeing as the "Waterproofs" are still damp at this point in time I think it
    may be the latter.

I'll consult the bedroom window tomorrow morning I think.

Yeah, so? I'm 229 miles away and doing it on a 40 year old two stroke.

If I don't crash; the brakes are a bit marginal and I get bored easily.

Heh... possibly the most accurate short-term weather forecasting device,
subject only to errors due to differing conditions at the front and the
    back of the house.

For added accuracy, consult additional windows.

My position on attending was finally decided at 8 this morning, when I was
woken by Lisa phoning up on her way back from night-shift to say that she
wasn't sure she could get the car up the hill in to the estate.

That's about when I decided that the furthest was going from home was the
distance necessary to stock up on wine, beer and bacon stotties.
