You think so? You look equally spaced on just about every picture I've
    ever seen of you.

I wished I had a video camera, later on you were outside sitting in the
back of your car laughing, at what I haven't a clue.))

  11. The original GPz550 (badged Z550GP) was the twin-shocker. The H series
(1982) was the first Uni-Trak. The A series was with the swoopy styling
and frame-mounted fairing which is, indeed, what I've got. They got more
    powerful with each version.

You know what? It's *still* a fun bike. It makes a lovely Kawasaki
growly whizzy sound, does an *easy* 120mph+, and at commuting speeds
(70-75 on the rush-hour M25) returns an amazing 60mpg or so.

The donor bike for the bits I want[1] I collect on Saturday. I *may*
swap the lumps over as mine has a little head gasket weep on the
right-hand side. Actually, it's more likely to be an O-ring than the
gasket. Anyway, it's not enough to worry about, but it is enough to
deposit some oil mist on the no.4 carb and the top of the clutch cover.

And the donor bike's lump has 11,000 miles less on it. We'll see. Or I
may just ignore it, as I have done up to now.

[1] Decent side panels with decals, carrier, maybe wheels & tyres,
better gear linkage, and I'll keep some things for safety's sake like
levers etc. Then I'll just strip it and everything else goes on Ebay.

She is. I could lick her all evening IYKWIM.
Well, the bike won't cook dinner but it does remind me of a poster I
once had that featured a rather fit looking burd. It said "No matter how
good she looks now, someone is tired of putting up with her shit"
