Time to learn slow wheelies then. Not that I'd condone that sort of
    behaviour, of course.

Bouncing from lane to lane, risking almost certain death, just to be
    not-so-bored on the M1?

  3. That's the one. The SE corner of the M25 was the worst. miles of
stationary traffic - so boring, just straight line filtering with no
    lane bouncing.

I went round yesterday morning just to check and........

Twas a smaller turnout than some past but we had crap weather and the
date change, didn't matter though, still a good doo and nice having the
    back
room open late. The food and puddings were (as always) amazing. Stayed
on an extra couple of days to eat more <burp>. Recommend getting
up to Hulland on the Friday and making a weekend of it on OSM's, or
anytime. There is a spanking Sunday Carvery (booking advised). Mike and
    Mu are excellent hosts.

Jackie dropped in for lunch yesterday and agreed the next one with Mu,
    I'm
sure she will post appropriately nearer the time. The Wheelhouse B&B
next door has changed hands, the new owners are a bit more friendly,
    which expands the options.

Irene was pleased to meet you all, this being her 1st OSM thing. Amazed
by how such a diverse group get on and by how diverse the group is. She
only converted to bikes this year, just needs to get the hang of
    actually
riding to the event mind. Must also bring her teenage daughter, Platy
    having set a trend.

You know how McDonalds is, you have one and 30 seconds later you're
    feeling empty and needing another.

    Hey, don't mention it ;)

But glad I tried it. I vastly prefer your K4 to the K6.

They're definitely trying to chase the 10R in the "most uncomfortable
    bike" stakes ..

    Thanks again,

    Cheers,

    Paul.

  16. Well it would be a bit difficult for them to be more pinickity and fussy
    than the previous owners.

They're still reckoned to be very comfy, but I do feel they've got a
bit smaller too. The K3/K4 is absolutely fine for my 6'2", but the
k5/6 does feel a little bit cramped, although I've never ridden one
for any sort of distance, so it's hard to tell.

Look the cunting thing was meant to send once ok. I can't help it if my
laptop is completely incompetent and Cancel Messages is too slow.
