Always the same... she raids my booze stash and ends up as wreckage for
    most of the next day.

During these times I hear the phrase "It's your bloody fault" groaned at
    me, repeatedly. ;-)

Perhaps she's going for total liver destruction before she's 21.....

    It's terrible, isn't it?
SeanH is practically married, you know. This means things like this
    shouldn't have happened.

  5. Seconded - The canteen at the end was rather amusing - microwave your
own food. The mangey old cat was sweet too, apart from trying to
    destroy Nick's jacket.

    The carpark was terrifying.
You'd only put your back out...
It's always fun when I see you do a little weave, indicative of what's
to follow at that bit of the route. High speed (relative term)
filtering is all the M1's good for.

Indeed he did not. He was clever enough to wait.

Monz ol' bean, smooth out that throttle. Listen to your launch - you can
hear you shut the throttle as the front comes up and then open it again.
Sooner or later that will have you on your arse. It should all be nice
and smooth, with no major throttle correction like that.

It'll only take you a few minutes of practice to get.

Oh, and you're a dirty hooligan...

I dug a hole so deep in the gravel with the back wheel that I thought
I was going to have to ask for a push to get out of it.
She's got a bad back too.
What does this little weave look like?

I went round this morning just to check and........

Twas a smaller turnout than some past but there was the weather and a
date change. Still a good doo and a nice variation with having the back
room open late. The food and puddings were, as always, amazing. I've
stayed on an extra couple of days to eat more. I can recommend getting
up to Hulland on the Friday and making a weekend of it on OSM's, or
anytime. There is a spanking Sunday Carvery (booking advised). Mike and
    Mu are excellent hosts.

Jackie dropped in for lunch today and agreed the next one with Mu, I'm
sure she will post appropriately nearer the time. The Wheelhouse B&B
next door has changed hands, the new owners are a bit more friendly,
    which expands the options.

Irene was pleased to meet you all, this being her 1st OSM thing. Amazed
by how such a diverse group get on and by how diverse the group is. She
only converted to bikes this year, needs to get the hang of actually
riding to the event mind. Must bring her teenage daughter too, Platy
    having set a trend.

    Yep.

I think somebody should take a video camera next time there's a
wheeliefest, so we get some decent footage.

For myself, once the camera comes out of the bag you are no longer a
part of all it, merely a recorder of odd bits of detail. I know which I
would rather be when in the company of cunts.

Not at the Black Horse, though. How quickly people seem to have
forgotten Mike and Mu's neighbours - the ones that threatened to
    scupper future do's.

As I understood it the complaints were about people whizzing into the
village time after time after time...

As you will know I tend to do 2 or 3 heading out of the village and then put
the bike away, however if the general consensus is that I should give over
    then I will gladly comply...

I tend clutch it up nice and smooth but anyone who has lofted it past the
black horse will tell you its not the easiest of places [1] big hump in road
[2] severe camber on both sides [3] fairly major right hand kink just before
you have to loft it. I find I have to steer the wheelie most times to avoid
the ashen faced yokels coming the other way too )

    aye aye saah )
eye thang ewe, to be called a hooligan by one as certifiably bonkers as you
    is praise indeed )

I was thinking about that at the time, but I did notice that all the
wheelying was done heading away from the village.
