Actually, I had a proper excuse this time SWMBO went in for an op on
Friday on her damaged kneecap (first a skiing crash, then being knocked
off her bike a couple of years ago) and I had to lift her home from
horshpittle, and as she's on crutches, I've been sort of doing...
things... around the house.

I have to say this was one of the best OSMs for me. I got jiggy with the
bar staff, I got (and stayed) pissed all day and night[1], had a
shouting match with two cunts by the name of Dan and Monz taught me to
wheelie.

Top banana.

I popped my OSM cherry this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cracking bit o' grub, good beer and banter, can't ask for anything else
really (apart for some fuckin decent weather).

Jackie, please ensure good weather is booked well in advance next year.

Highlight of the weekend for me was WC trying to slip *the* note into Dan's
pocket, and everyone failing miserably to work the XTZ's clutch first time
during the CIHAGM session.

it appears you are truely blessed.

 

They were climbing the sidewalk and she fell off.

 

I enjoyed it very much. My only regret was not staying later than
11pm as I was sharing a taxi with Scraggy. I wish I'd stayed until
the end and will in future.

The ride up was thankfully uneventful, I met SeanH at Toddington
services as planned, exactly on time. After a quick look around I
noticed a splash of oil on the down pipes and a leak (stone chip) in
the middle of the Bandit's oil cooler. It looked like fresh oil. I
looked again in Derby this morning and the enging didn't appear to
have any oil in the sight glass, but wassisname (Ta very much) donated
a litre to Nick's Engine Oil Fund. On the journey home via the Secret
Nuclear Bunker (well worth a visit - excellent area for doing
burnouts) it didn't appear to lose a drop of oil.

Other highlights:

Pulling Whitney.

Putting Whitney in the picture.

Announcing, while being photographed rolling around on the lawn with
Whitney, that she can deflower me next year.

Katherine fixing my back for ten minutes.

Making the M1 more interesting by displaying a complete and utter lack
of regard for other road users.

 

Scraggy didn't stall it either.
