We are coming, have mailed you Lozzo but got no reply - did you get
the mail? Also, we hope that Owen's son Russell will
come-along-a-Platy and may also want feeding - however, we don't know
for certain yet. If yes, we will email you tonight. OK?

We were supposed to be organising a comparison testing, IIRC. Never
mind - TBH I'm not sure I can fit it in anyway[1], as I've just
discovered that it won't fit under the back seat, which is annoying. I
also noticed that it's leaked a little bit throught the cork since
it's been sitting on the wine rack, so I'm a bit loathe to shoe-horn
    it in with clothes etc.

[1] I'm hoping[2] to make do with the tank bag (30l) and tail pack, so
I may be making lots of use of the hotel laundry facilities in Paris
    next week.
[2] Well, I've not much choice really, as I don't seem to possess any
    soft panniers any more[3]
[3] I used to have a pair, but ISTR lending/giving them to someone on
here, about three years back - gawd knows what became of them.

The theory is that I'll bring him up on the back of the Drifter. I have
misgivings about this - the rear shock isn't really up to the extra
weight. However, I'll take him out for a run during the week to see how
he copes, and if he feels up to a couple of hundred miles of it.

If there's anyone going up from this neck of the woods who could give
him a lift, well, almost anything else would be better than the back of
    the Drifter.

Yes! Cut and paste, y'know. It didn't bounce either. Anyway, thanks
for response, we'll be there. Also emailed last night about Russell,
who does want to come, so that's one more in case that email also went
    astray. Ta.

Whatever. Actually, the local stuff around here, Cremant d'Alsace, is
better than that, and starts at around a fiver a bottle. No, I tell a
lie, that's Euros, so about three quid, four or five gets you the good
stuff. Oddly, I've never seen it in the UK.

The stuff I get over here is pre-sugared, so just need diluting. But
the destructions on the bottle must have been mis-typed, as they
reckon it should be diluted about 10-1. WTF? I mean, it's only 55%
    after all...
