Reason I ask is I've only had 6 confirmed attendees so far.

If that doesn't improve significantly over the next 48 hours I'll be
forced to cancel as it wouldn't be fair on Mu at this fairly early
point to expect a larger number than actually turn up, when she's held
back from booking other parties to use the dining room etc.

Send an email to if you are coming please, then I can
add up numbers and inform Mu of how many to cater for.

Bit of a bum weekend by the looks of it..... lots of people doing
other things, and the B&B out of order next door.

    Perhaps a re-schedule might be worthwhile ?

Nah, soddit. Just a smaller M than usual, that's all. If it's
cancelled, I'm still going up just for the night, as I've got a room
    booked.

I seem to have missed Loz's original post starting this thread - hence
    the piggyback.

I assume the email addy in question, in clear, is .

We're still going so you'll not be drinking on your own.

I'd be very grateful if somebody could recommend nearby sleeping quarters as
I really don't feel like tenting it at the moment. I looked at the
international again but it might be a tad to far in reality.
If I could find somewhere close, cheap and cheerful I'll be there.

    In message
I'll be there to pick me tank up :)
If it's a lesser osm; what's the chance of blagging a room then?

  11. Quite apart from anything else, I've got those tyres to lift up for you
and a 400 Four bodywork set for Mark Roberts.

Nothing nearby. As stated last week, the one at Hulland Green closed.
There's a Travelodge in Ashbourne now. Closer than Derby, although make
sure you get a cab booked early.
