    I can't save them, 'cos I'm infected with a locked-down version of
quicktime, and it just plays. WVMs save okay.

I'll cut them to a CD and drop it in the internal post for you on
    Monday.

My gratitude is unspeakable. I'm on a client site, though.

OK, I'll post it in the normal post, when I steal a suitable envelope
    from the office stationary cupboard....

    :)

Ahhhhh, it's *you* that Platy was referring to. I was wondering why he
sounded surprised that Darsy could manage a NI accent.

    It's been a long week...

It's also a bit of a curse. In the past I've managed to sound like an
Australian (when working for an Australian company) and picked up a
stutter (when my boss had a stutter).

I've lost the stutter (almost completely) but the Australian accent
won't dissapear altogether... especially when I talk to Australians.

It's obviously some inbuilt brown-nosing mechanism (in my case) designed
to endear myself to my employer. Which is quite worrying since my
current boss has a thick Italian accent and his boss has a thick German
    accent.

    That's about 25k a year pre-tax.

What sort of a mortgage could you raise on that income and how does that
make a figure of 175k for somewhere 'nice' "*great*"?

Then again I've not moved for years or looked at house prices so WTF do
    I really know.

Oh, that's a particularly horrible website IMO designed to encourage
    people to feel smug.

It's interesting looking at the demographics of the area and the insanity
that is SE house prices but I'm not convinced it's that accurate as
apparently my bit of Hove is the same as Salford [1].

    "...
Neighbourhoods fitting this profile are found predominantly in northern
English towns such as Oldham, Salford, Liverpool, Huddersfield and
Gateshead, as well as in Belfast and some towns in the south including
    Basildon.

Here is an overview of the likely preferences and features of your
    neighbourhood:
    Family income Low
    Interest in current affairs Medium
    Housing - with mortgage Low
    Educated - to degree Low
    Couples with children Low
    Have satellite TV Medium
    ...."

[1] I know my family's from there but that's a bit much - Hove full
of matchstick men and matchstick cats and dogs: I don't think so
    me laddo.
