Enjoy the French trips while you can

  1. There was only one M5 screw securing the bumper by then (it was being held
    in place by a bungee cord).

    The car had also take a good thwump on the alloy wheel, which I think has
    crushed a wheel bearing; as the steering wheel now oscillates between 50 and
    70.

    Its an excuse for me to take a couple of extra trips over this year though !

    Well, I've seen these products sold in Supermarkets, so I'd assume it's
    above board. It's not a radar detector, but shows your position with
    respect to a radar (mobile radars included), so is probably a get out
    clause.
    Heh, I see them quite often in Paris, doing the same.

    Dunno if it's bodgeable, but not beyond the abilities of some.
