Yep, it's got to go - the outfit, I mean. It's cluttering up the drive and
nobody is interested in being a passenger.

    For those who haven't seen it, it's a 1997 "R" reg Dnepr MT11, 650cc flat
twin, 12 volt electrics (with recent battery), reverse gear, the whole bit.
It has shiny new exhausts and a shiny new MOT. It's black, except for the
rusty bits where the paint has fallen off. The chair has a screen, a spare
wheel, a tonneau cover and plenty of storage space. Kickstart only, but
it's not difficult once you know the routine. Mileage is a bit under
20,000Kms on the clock - I've no reason to believe this isn't genuine. It
seems reliable enough - the run up to Veggie's the other weekend was about
300 miles in total, and the BOSM was about 260 miles, and nothing went wrong
apart from the old exhaust falling off. I'd venture to say that it's as
solid as the Rock of Gibraltar, if not as fast...

I know there were a few people on here potentially interested in buying the
thing, so I'll give it a few days before I stick it on ebay. I reckon it's
cost me about a grand in total, so the boiled sweet and pocket fluff
tendency had better sharpen their pencils.

Some photos here (pre shiny new exhausts)

I like it. I guess you have to be convinced to have something like this, its
of no real interest to me but no doubt someone will be along shortly with a
    worthy offer.

I really don't know much about these Russian made motorcycles, but I saw
some similar at the classic bike show and I eventually I could be tempted to
have a bit of fun with something like this.
On a stranger note, I just can't help but think of the carry on films with
the munter with the odd helmet sitting in in the sidecar whenever I see any
kind of outfit besides the sport designed ones.
Also read that Mark Thomas has been worrying Jack Straw by dressing as
Hitler with one of the Ural's. He's a Funny man.

platypus emerged from their own little world to say
Didn't you know? He's had the op. A big success, apart from an alignment
    problem.

Of /course/ you can have a go. It'll take ages to sell the thing.

Once you stop avoiding me, of course.

I rather thought that *you* were avoiding *me*. At least when on the
outfit. I was planning to ride it to the nearest petrol station, then
return to collapse into the arms of my nearest and dearest before
    demanding beer.

That seems to be the protocol on these occasions.

You bitch. I took it to the BOSM: no WUN. Veggiefest: no WUN. What's a
    girl to do?
Custom and practice, dear boy, is scarcely established after one outing.
It won't last. You'll soon be as dim as ever.

Oh fucking hell, I never could get the hang of this "playing hard to
    get" thing.
Au contraire, mon brave[1]. It's all we have to go on[2].
I can't let my public down.

    [1] That's Frog, you iggerant ****.

Oh, and while we're about it, please don't refer to a go on the
BlingMobile as an "outing". It tends to get the non-cogniscenti all
    uppity.

    Ta.
