But for the record I'd just like to say that the ~30 second catch-up
stops did seem to indicate a certain "not actually very slow at all"
ness, but I'm only saying that after spending the night on the office
floor and waking up probably still pisssed...

Er, I was the one that got wound up about it, not Ginge. There's no
"ding"ing about it. You don't say you've just ridden with someone and
they're too slow and then claim it as a "meme" reference. Doesn't work, old
bean.

 

No, we managed to avoid that, but Mike and I went on to one of the
bars in Kleinbasel for a last 'one for the ditch'. Or four, to be more
accurate. Problem was that when I arrived at the flat and got my keys
out I discovered that they have become unclipped from my normal
keyring, hence I couldn't get in. I didn't think Jude would appreciate
a 3:30 call to come and rescue me, plus I needed max sleep ços of
doing two presentations at this morning's SAG meeting.

I was surprised at how well I managed to sleep on the floor with just
a rolled up (spare) pair of jeans for a pillow. Must have been the
camping practice from the other weekend.

Squeezyjet, eh. Don't you love 'em?
