What's the point? - I ride 90% of my miles with a pillion, and a large
proportion of those are done with the bike fully loaded.

I can enjoy riding my bike at sub 100mph speeds. That's not a bad thing,
as some seem to think it is.

Just reinforcing the fact that you, of all people, are not the one to
be making comments about the high speed and acceleration capabilities
of any bike. You don't do high speed, you barely do mediocre speed.

I think it sucks myself. Pillions **** up the handling.

 

I think this kind of comment says more about you than it does about me.

You know, I don't GAF. We're off to France in a couple of hours. VFR
fully loaded on the drive and ready to go.

That beats riding like a twat in the UK.

You don't have to ride like a twat to ride fast. You also don't have to
ride fast to ride like a twat. I've seen far more bad riding from the
slower riders I know than I have from the faster ones.

Fast and smooth is where it's at.

 

If that makes you feel big and superior, then so be it.

I feel that way naturally, I don't need to advertise it. But as it sure
as hell bugs the **** out of you when we tell you point blank that
you're fucking slow, it'd be rude not to just rub it in a little.

 

It's not, and I think if you google you'll find it rare for me to take
the piss out of people who ride slow.

However, if someone does ride at a generally slower pace, they're not
in a very good position to argue that a fast bike couldn't lose a
police car.

 

'Scuse ignorance. Does this mean a small, difficult to read plate or a
plate bearing the number of a completely different (yet entirely
similar) vehicle untraceable back to ones self. Or of course,
something else entirely.

Just wondering like.

I'll order a copy. Does anyone here know what SteveH's address is.

 

I don't think you really need a fast bike. A mate managed on a GT185
Suzuki by using a car park pedestrian exit and I think I've done it on
a 750 Bonneville and a 600 Fazer. Of course the blue lights may have
been because they were off on a donut run but who knows 100% for sure.

I don't think he is. Of course, we all take the piss out of Ginge, but
that's different. In general, I don't think any of the quick riders
take the piss out of others just because they're slower.
