Elgin and Crawford

Just got off the phone with a couple of the guys from out west.. They are
talking about spending the night at the State Office in Elgin, tomorrow
night, Saturday.. After the District Advisors meeting on Saturday, these
guys would all like to visit and fellowship into the night, crash and get up
early to start the long ride home.. Phew.. and it is a long ride for them..

Their idea is to get up early and swing through Crawford, early on Sunday
morning.. Some of these hands from the DFW metroplex are thinking about
staying with them.. Two lines of reasoning involved here.. First.. we all
have to be in Elgin for the meeting.. none of us get the chance to spend
time together, often enough.. It is a weekend and we can fellowship all
night long, if we choose.. hmmm.. Sure couldn't ask for better company.. huh
?

Then .. consider, there is a nice lady in Crawford that needs some support
and encouragement.. It's not too far out of the way for any of us to invest
a little time and a few miles, just to let her know that we're thinking of
her.. Maybe a few cases of sodas, snacks or water to make sure that she is
reasonably comfortable..

I'm thinking in terms of making it an overnight stay in Elgin and swing by
Crawford, on my way home Sunday..
