I have heard the storey may have had some embellishments but does it really
matter, guess you have to work it out yourself.
Also, some people were not reading aus.moto 1, 2, 3 years ago or may have
missed the link at that time.

I found it interesting and the pictures very moving.
Not the kind of place I would go for a ride unprepared.
And a fishing rode is not what I am talking about.

    :p

Debunked. She didn't ride her bike in, she took a standard bus tour into
    the area.

    Still interesting though.

The only embellishments in her story about riding her motorcycle alone
to those places were that in reality she never rode her motorbike to
those places and she never visited them alone... so it would only really
matter if you believed the basic premise of her story..
Oh dear, Peter. It appears that it _does_ matter.

    1) those who go out and do things and
    2) those who just bag the **** out of them because they are cynical
    fucks and
    3) people like me

You forgot the fourth kind of those two kinds of people - the ones who
    can't count :)

    I'll 'ave an 'arf.

Perhaps but in many ways it's still got merit.

Good point - I don't think how she got there really matters, the
substance of the pages is what counts. And since I've only had a bike 6
months[1] I've missed any previous posts of this one.

    Y
[1] You're all thinking "how can he piss us off that much in only 6 months?"

That's a profound, yet fascinatingly puerile observation. Thanks for
    taking the time.
