it appears that all is not well.

four have made it to the hotel but Platy had a mishap when pulling
onto the hard shoulder and has binned it on the brakes.

both ok but bike battered (broken footrests etc).

I got the bike out to commute back up to the frozen wastes up north
    today, but i've just read

    "Britain braced for more snowfall"

    http://news.uk.msn.com/uk/articles.aspx?cp-documentid=151962046

Still, the lads at the eastern front aren't worried, so I don't think
    I should be either :)

As it's got the simplest email app going even you should be able to manage
    it!

But that kind of falls down when you ask an 'M' driver what they drive, as
    it'll always be an M3, M5, M6, etc.

'M3' could be E30, E36, E46, E90 (think that's the new one), and even then
only BMW heads would know even basic things like the engine size, bhp.

So what we're saying then is, err, widdle flip doo.

Oh dear. It's just occured to me that the most sensible[1] person on
the trip is Packer, which speaks volumes!

[1] For choice of bike at least.

  20. It didn't bloody work, actually. I just plugged the phone in and took it
    off manually, in the end.
