Elefant attack vehicle

This looks a bit more interesting than your standard "boat strapped to a
BMW" arrangement:

Not convinced about the HD engine, though. I don't know how well it
would cope with European winter weather.

 

We saw a few BMW 100GS powered outfits similar to that which were in the
*want* category.

 

the VRod engine is fuel injected and liquid cooled so should cope, assuming
the electrics don't pack up.

Scott's a regular on the V-Rod forum I inhabit - he finished the Baja
1000 in 32 hours on that.
The motor is pretty unburstable , being a Porsche design.

It really wouldn't be my first choice for the Elefant though - the 240
rear tyre almost guarantees maximim slippage....
