I just bought this bike and it quite on me while riding. The
headlight, taillight, and license plate light blew out. Now the bike
is not getting any power at all. I replaced the bulb and the main in
line fuse but still nothing. The battery is giving power. I think it
might be the starter selenoid but I'm not sure. The ignition switch is
    getting juice too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

  2. I'd check the ignition switch and, especially, the connections from it.

On many Japanese bikes, the main lighting circuitry goes through the
    ignition switch.

It isn't going to be the starter solenoid.

    I had a similar problem with a VT500FTE 9ascot0
Replaced the ignition switch (electrical part) only and checked out the
    emergency stop button.

You should have al look at the junction box all so (just above the horn)

Check all cable harnesses especially those which move when steering.

ps excuse my English (dutch is my normal tongue)
