  2. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember
    (The Older Gentleman) saying
    something like:
    A Bringading.

    Hmm.

Bandit 12 - named after incident with white van - "Fucked".
    VF750 - named after realising what a shed I'd bought - "Fucked".
RF900 - named after listening to the rattles - "Nearly Fucked".

This is like the "key" at the beginning of Alan Clark's diaries, and
Backfire: explaining what the pet names for the cars were:

    Big Red - a Bentley
    Big Green - a Bentley
The Winter Car - a 1968 Chevy Impala
The Summer Car - a 1968 Chevy Impala convertible.

    etc

Oh so it's French, crap, long and quite boring then?

    Okay, let me clarify this:

It's quite a large, blue tower PC
    It's not a linux box
It's not French, it was handbuilt in the UK by me (using foreign bits,
    natch)
It doesn't feature Rosanna Arquette or Jean Marc Barr
It runs Windoze 98SE, so it post dates the Luc Besson version by some 10
    years
It probably is crap (1300 Duron Chip, 512K memory) but it does the job for
    me
Compared to most beige PC's it isn't boring, but as an item of furniture it
    hardly inspires

    Any more info required, anyone?
