    Don't they ruin the ride though? I went in a mate's 1-series [1] the
other day, and the ride quality weren't too good - I understood it was
    down to the run-flats.

Well these are 18 inch rims and steel springs, none of this active
suspenders bollocks. Ride quality is in the Danni Minogue quadrant.

On another note, is there such a thing as a nice Soave? I've not found
one, they all seem a bit flavourless to me. Went to a tasting of some
fantastic Barolo and Barbarescos last night if you're into red - by
Bruno Giacosa. Way out of my price range though at £585 for 6 =8-0.

Straight from Sainsbury's, was recommended. Serve cold.
I have a ?120 bottle of 2000 Vega Sicilia awaiting a suitable occasion.
Sublime it is though you wouldn't buy it at that price for yourself.

It's worth bearing in mind you can't fit four tyres on a performance car
for £120. Compare like for like and the ITYF prices are not much
    different.

AOL to that... My Supra was £140 per tyre for sticky stuff if I bought all 4
at the same time. Makes the BT014s seem good value really.

When I had the Primera it cost £130 for four tyres from Costco(1)

The Golf cost me SITRO £270 for four new tyres (2)

    (1) They were allegedly, a brand owned by Michelin
    (2) Alledgedly a performance car

  19. I did manage to get a new tyre for a Micra last year for £17 and once
scored 3 tyres for a Peugeot 305 for £35 because they were some odd
size that fitted nothing else. OTOH £200 for both for the bike on
    Monday.
