Didn't do happy? His account of pre-WWI life- Memoirs of a Fox-Hunting
Man - tells of a time before when life was happy.

I had not forgotten this. Didn't know it to start with. Unless I've
    forgotten forgetting.

On the subject of CRAFT moments, was listening to a lecture this week on
various bits of tax legislation, etc, this year. Lecturer highly thought
of, bright, knowledgeable and experienced. He lost a word. Wasn't
'rebutted' wasn't 'discredited' but something akin to these. The look of
bewilderment and embarrassment was pitiful to behold. He'll get used to
    it.

Not really, thanks, I'm clearing out the MZs and only keeping my old ES
    Trophy.

    War poetry.
I've just had a very quick look through the library and it appears I
don't have it. Oh well, I've been meaning to add an American anthology
    for a while.

Spreading the must buy another book virus; a recommendation for the
Folio Society's Anthem for Doomed Youth.

There's something about slip case covers that makes me go all tingly.

It's also the only place I've seen 'The Ballad of Florentin Prunier'
in translation which is one of my favourite war poems. Even though it
makes me cry every single time. Mother love and all that.

I've dismantled three, sold the sidecar and have one ETZ 300 to dispose
of, a Supa 5 to decide what to do with, a mates TS to sell and an ES
Trophy to keep. And. That Is. It.
