Has anyone risked buying second hand leathers? Apart from ending up with
somethng that doesn't fit and stinks of sweat and mildew what are the risks?
I've noticed that trousers often go for about £40-£60 which in some cases is
more than a third of the original price. Is this a sign that there are lots
of dumb suckers out there or could it be worth it?

I got a pair of Hein Gericke leather trousers for £43 recently. I'm
    delighted with them.

I flogged a pair of riossi ones for about the same. I bet there's quite
a few pairs that never get really worn because after a couple of rides you
just can't get on with them. - Prolly more common in the larger sizes.

Only lost about £20 on that hasty purchase.
