Ebay result!

    A very nice pair of (loud) Viper alloy race cans for the FJ11 for £20. Best
    of all only 10 miles from my front door so no shipping either.
    Very timely too as the Motads on there are totally rotten .
    FJ11s do sound *outrageous* on only downpipes/collector as I found out when
    moving the bike up the steep drive just now.
    Schweeet.

    you weren't in Llandovery some time last year were you?

    I recall an FJ making a god-awful racket...

    Nope. But my Guzzi trike (when suitably provoked and away from a built up
    area) can drown out even the Yam minus silencers :>)

    Whne I had my Z650 a mate had an XS650 with Dunstall (or similar) erm ...
    silencers (?) I had to stay in front of him, if I was ever behind I could
    physically feel the shockwave hitting my chest :)
