He's probably a bit optimistic, but at least he is honest. If the bike is
in boxes in the loft, what do you do? There's no attempt at deception here.

I would have thought that some pics of the bits so bidders can make
their own assessment of the condition would be fair, having said that
I bet it still sells for a good price.

  4. 209 bid already with no pics. Have to say, the bloke sounds straight
enough. And what's with al the foreign cunts, "UK auction, collection
only", "how much is it to post it to the canarias?" FFS...

Although he could have made it not say "will post worldwide", but the text
    is clear, even so.

  5. what gets me is that so many people stick something on ebay, with the
offer of taking pictures at some later date. They'd worked out that
they were likely to be asked for pictures - so why not take them BEFORE
    posting the auction!

Also why do so many people set an auction running and then inform us all
that they will be on holiday until after the end of the sale or in this
case going to be away on business?

  6. well, I'd allow the possibility that the business trip came up at short
notice. Holidays, yeah, you mostly know when you're gonna be on holiday.

As for pictures, well, in this one case he might have thought it'd be better
to put library pictures of the bike rather then boxes of bits. But still, a
couple of pictures of the boxes of bits would have added to the
    authenticity.
