I just sometimes want to hold my head when dealing with some Ebayers.

"What's your best price for cash?" Er, this is an autcion.

"Will you take it off Ebay for an instant sale?" Did you read the
paragraph stating I don't do this?

"Whereabouts are you?" Where do you think south-west London is, then?

"What colour is it?" Look at the photo.

And so on, and so forth.

    Heheheh

I sold a CCTV camera housing a while ago, giving full dimensions, can't
    remember what they were exactly but sort of 100mm x 150mm x 350mm ....
Dimwit question came back, "Will my Samsung DVwhateverthefrigitwas fit in
    this?"

My reply "I don't know, the size of box where the camera should fit is
100mm x 150mm x 350mm sealed rectanguler box, you need to measure your
camera. Bear in mind this is normally for a CCTV camera which are generally
just a lens, square body and cables out the back"

Dimwit "It's about four inches by six inches and a bit .... do you think the
    bit will still fit?"

    words fail ...

We'll have a couple more coming up soon, I'll let you know after New Year if
you can wait that long. They're same as this one ... 140051809385 but will
be the external ones with full weather proofing ... though how one tells
external from internal I dunno as they don't look any different, or have any
extra seals, except the cable does run through the mounting bracket ... Be
the same price if you want 'em too. ;) Delivery could be underground
    railway if and when.

It isn't, England is part of the United Kingdom and is situated to the
    west of France.

Of course life would be improved if you could be bothered to leave
something of the prior post you were replying to.

In that air of misplaced srendipity, has anyone got a fretless
acoustic bass with a 34" scale for sale? Just reminded me of a couple
of days ago, asking someone what scale length the bass he had for sale
was, and having to explain that it's the length between the two white
    plastic bits.

I realise that pedantry is a matter of concern more to Another Place but
aren't we actually more to the NW? Possibly you are descended from
    merkins, do you *need* GPS?

... and in the same vein ... No, but I do have for auction (sale to UKRM
peeps) a Silvered projector screen, ebay No 140064682312 .. Underground
Railway would be OK for delivery.

Possibly of use to old film buffs.

  16. I've got another one today. I'm selling a complete Z650 engine, and the
auction very prominently states it's buyer collects or arranges
collection, because of the weight of the thing.

"I live in Wales. How much will postage be?"

Now you're getting technical. I suppose if you could take a line between
the centre of each country it may be more to the NW than W.

I *do* so hope you are not suggesting that I am descended from a Merkin
because that's a terrible accusation to make.
