Well Alyson Hannigan has had a clear unbroken run as Celeb Hottie par
exellence for some years now. I hate to say it but I think the passage of
    time has seen her supplanted.

Will Jolene Blalock please step forward.

In no way am I suggesting this makes "Enterprise" watchable.

**** aren't they just! And they don't keep the things in stock. And they
insist on charging for delivery so the price isn't what it appears.

Hmm what could I get today.....

    @news.individual.net:

If that fails order one from Iceland.co.uk - don't go to a shop, you won't
    like it.

They are actually supplied by the Co-Op and our new freezer arrived at the
pre-arranged time. The chaps did a nice job of unwrapping it, putting it
where we wanted it and taking away the packaging.

I like buying stuff from the Co Op. Shame the don't do proper big
    supermarkets hereabouts.

I like Iceland, when my fridge failed after 11 1/12 months they gave me
a full credit against a better one without question.
Nothing wrong with the shops if you have room to take one away.

You'll be happy to hear this wee tale :)

Hayleys daughter had a part time job in the local Currys. Manager was a
    trumped up bullying fuckwit.

Said daughter had come home in tears on a few occasions, which hadn't
impressed H as she's very protective about her kids.

Finally Hayley gets a call from daughter from work to say she's had enough
and wants to leave and can you come and pick me up please.

H goes down there and bullying Manager tries the same bollocks on Hayley
poking her in the shoulder with his figure and being all shouty ..... one
head butt and a bust nose later he wanders into the store seeking a cloth to
mop up his profusely bleeding hooter :) Charges were never pressed as he'd
started it :) All the other kids working there were apparently much amused.

Ding. Also, if there's a problem, they deal with it in an extremely
professional way. And they compete strongly on price.

    Why **** around?

  14. Whilst I agree wholeheartedly, they can have their off-days too. Mate
of mine bought a rather expensive coffee machine from them (around
£500 worth, so top end of domestic market). It keeled over a couple
of months after he got it. They were decidedly tardy about doing
anything to rectify the situation. Eventually they sent it back to
manufacturer, who repaired and sent back. Couple of months pass again
and there's more faults. Still not sorted out and that's been nigh on
    a year.

I'd have preferred to see JLP step straight in with a replacement as
soon as it went wrong first time.

On the whole they tend to be good though. (although I've had very
good experiences of shopping online with Sainsbury and Dixons for
    white goods)

I'm sure I remember there being some fuss as they changed that from
'less' to 'fewer' a few years ago.

It used to be said that M&S had "10 items or fewer", Sainsburys had
"10 items or less" and Asda had "baskets only".

    They certainly can.
They lost the sale of an LCD telly by having a demo room showing the
    worst possible picture quality
and having a salesman bullshit me about it. So after going to Richer Sounds
and seeing a real demo of HD channels, it was easier just to buy a telly
rather than go back to John Lewis and pay a little more for the same item.
