Just looking at a 2011 calendar. Easter is the last weekend in April in
2011, so there are only 4 working days inbetween Easter and May Day BH. Get
your holiday booking forms in early to get an 11 day break for just 4 days
    holiday.

Thats ok if you already have Easter off, we get the choice to work and
take the holiday anytime we want.

I have 42 days a year to take when i want anyways.

It's OK for you to take the piss, but it's ruining my whole Usenet

One of the advantages of Ski Freshtracks hols is that they're all
pegged by ability level, so you can be sure of having similar level
skiiers to ski with. This one starts at 'red', which is really just
intermediate, ski most things, struggle on harder blacks or in poor
    conditions, sort of thing.

    <looks>

hmm I'm probably more early intermediate, might be able to scrape the red.

The particular time I was thinking of, I was at St. Anton, late season
in ice/slush, with a bunch of on/off piste experts.

Fun it was not. The worst bit was having to walk back up to the piste in
deep slushy snow after having flown down[1] what felt like 3000ft.

[1]I crossed the tips of my skis on ice and spectacularly went off the edge.

N & S Italy. N for snow obviously. The weather in S Italy, Naples, Sorrento
& Amalfi was very pleasant in winter. Odd wet day but mostly warm enough to
wander around without a coat or jumper.

I thought even southern Italy might not be that warm in February. Must
sound out my Shiver owning euromoto pal Fabio about putting us up for a
few days, as we did for him when he visited the UK a few years ago. A
two centre holiday courtesy of him, Laterooms, a budget airline and a
hire car might be just the ticket.
