  1. It's two minutes to one and I fucking swear the sofa's moving up and
down and no alcohol's passed my lips.

It wasn't an earthquake, was it? Just you storming towards the PC with
flame mode set to on? :)

Anyhow, I'm going to have another go at sleep before we get another one.

if that was the way of it, we'd have such occurences on a daily basis,
    would we not?
Plan. Having had the odd beer tonight (Youngs London Ale) and the pub
theam having lost the /vital/ pool match, I'll be doing the same.
Farewell, Div One title, hello Morpheus.

  11. Oh I say, unlucky squire. I've just been volunteered to play on our
    corporate team for this: http://www.cityofventura.net/Corp_Games/2008/

The fact I haven't played properly for 8 years didn't get in the way of
"you're a brit that drinks like a fish, you must be able to play pool".

Spose I'd better find a pool table to practice on!

May your dreams be works of hallucinogenic art.

My middle daughter is 'studying'[1] in Lincoln, she said that her
boyfriend was nearly shaken off the bog seat by it while he was taking
a dump. Things fell off the shelves in the flat and they were scared
the booze bottles would fall over and spill.

I was at just the wrong level of drunkennes, in that I remembered the
theory, but was too drunk too actually think properly, so I assumed it
was the P-Wave (Primary Wave) arrival, not the L Wave (Surface Wave)
arrival that actually does the damage, and spent a few minutes hiding
under a doorway waiting for the worst to come.

Once or twice. No, I meant my 13 yr old daughter wants to go to Uni
(already!, she wants to be a doctor), so I'm expecting to see signs of
    'studying' at some point.
