Time to get new rubber for the Morini hillclimber. It has ancient KR124s
on at the moment which I rated when circuit racing and, it seems, are
still available in 'soft' compound. The 3.50s also fit 2.15 rims (not
the KR124a for which 2.50 is recommended).

On the 510 Husky hill climber though I used AM22 in club race compound.
The 110/80 can go on 2.15s apparently but 2.50 is 'ideal'.

All this is for 18 inch wheels running tubes naturally.

Anybody out there used either of these lately (preferably compared
    them)?

    no Pete, it's just you.

Everyone else has at least made it into the 1990s.

    In communiqué
Note that I cross posted to UKRM Classic.

Anyway, thanks to a long conversation with a very helpful chap at AR
Racing I have plumped for Avon AM22/AM23 Club Race. As pricey as Pilot
Power 2CTs, but they are certainly going to last a lot longer.
