Dumb brakes question.

    Hi,

    If you were reassembling an old Brembo rear master cylinder like this
    http://www.tawvehicle.com/images/masters/r503.gif
    then would you apply any red grease, and if so, where.

    It had a load of ordinary grease in the boot, around the pushrod and the
    outside of the piston, which is probably why it was sticking before.

    If you are dismantling it, I would put just a smidgin of red on the
    piston seal itself, and maybe just another smidgin where the rod goes
    through the sealing boot.
