Next time I get the bright idea to ride Wollongong-Sydney at 5am without my
winter woolies on (thermal liner in the dri-rider) tell me I'm a dick head
    will youse?!

6 hours in nice comfy aircon, and I'm only just starting to feel my toes
again! Geez I hate winter....but I hate catching the train (aka "disease
    capsule") even more.

True - but it's nice to know it's still "there".

BTW, what's wrong with the "gay" set? I thought any mention of those who
prefer their own gender had to have "not that there's anything wrong with
    that" appended to every reference?

Feeling your own bum isn't so much 'gay' as 'sad'.

i rode from goulburn to tweed heads mid winter a few years back, i had
sports shoes, jeans and a old leather jacket and some summer gloves on :)

with in 30 minutes, i could feel a thing but burning..

i put my pvc rain pants on, make a bit of a diference, brought a newpaper
and some duct tape, put some plastic bags in my shoes over my socks, duct
taped up my shoes as they were vented sports shoes, put paper around my
leather jacket.... and i still froze..

    bah :) naked 250 too..

glad you make it out alive..
