"Troy Bayliss is, to put it simply, a legend for Ducati. The 36 year-old
from Taree in Australia burst onto the World Superbike scene in 2000 as
replacement for the injured Carl Fogarty and then won the title the
    following year."

Talk about playing down his achievements... they forget to mention that
he didn't ride in the first 6 races of the season and still finished as
the top points scorer on a Ducati in 2000.

    I though this was enough : " a legend for Ducati "

If Troy stayed on in SBK he would have beaten all the Foggy records by
now.He would have been what Rossi is to MotoGP.

It will be a tough year in 06' , hope he does not have issues with the
Pirelli tyres and is up to speed with his wrist and all ASAP.

Looking foward to more glory and of course Troy teaching/training Lanzi
for the future years @ Ducati.

I really am glad he has come_back_home to Ducati, pasta beats rice
    anyday!

Funny that both Corser and Vermuellen would disagree.
