U can have ya [even mothers cannot tell them apart] gsxfirepoo-r1zx
    blah blah

A great double win by a tiny little Italian factory with a even greater
    Aussie rider

Backed up with a Ferrari F1 win in Imola

Does it get any better than this?

That's the plan. Who'd want one of those ugly-as-**** 999's? Half the
performance at twice the price. No wonder Ducati's sales are
    plummeting.

Funny how they still need the help of the air-restrictor rule to win.
They'd just better hope Honda doesn't build another twin, because they
kicked Ducati's arse last time they did it.

How'd Ducati go in the supersport? 150cc advantage and they still get
    their arses kicked. hehehe

    BULLSHIT

The Ducati has air restrictors fitted to.
50mm on the twins, 32.5mm of the 4's

    NEXT defence?

G'day Lushy, yeh, you are correct mate - a win is a win :). Trouble
is, some of us have a problem with H****[1] in that he sprouts nothing
    but shit.

Where most of us tend to rubbish a particular make of bike[2], we will
still generally acknowledge that any particular brand of bikes still
have some good points about them.

Even though Honda have won more world championships (125, 250, 350,
500, 990) plus a few other classes... etc, and outsold (in the western
side of the world ;) ) most every other maker of bikes, H**** will not
give Honda one iota of credit to them. whereas, we[3] will give credit
to any bike - including shitcati[4] ;) where it is due.

    Johno

[1] H**** is in the kill-file, only comes out when people I like
answer him - because they are not kill-filed.

[2] Suzuki springs to mind ;)

[3] Maybe with the exception of Biggus ;)

[4] I love them - but why woud I want to pay twice the price to get
the same (or slightly less) performance of a Jap bike?

    Beer mate?

That's why I chose the T595 over a Ducati 916. Just as fast, just as quick,
2/3 the price, cheaper to service and a better road bike as well...

So, the fours are more restricted than the twins. Thanks for playing

Honda should build another v-twin, coz they kicked Ducati's arse last
time that happened (kinda like they're doing in supersport).....

Just because Honda build better motorcycles and win more races and make
more money than Ducati is no reason for you to feel insecure

Four 32.5 inlets is bigger than two 50s!
    ~
Nothing to stop them (except their arse-kicking V-twin was a dog in the
    showrooms)
Win more Superbike races?!!? Surely you jest!

Yeah well, if they'd sold it a bit better setup and for a more
reasonable price it would have shifted. It was at least 4K too dear for
the spec it shipped in. For $24K I'd not be expecting to have to ditch a
rear shock and pay someone to setup the suspension properly out of the
    show room.

    Typical Honda
    build-an-unobtanium-factory-racer-and-then-sell-fake-look-alikes-to-the-public
    behaviour.

Kinda sorta. The bits that they were allowed to change under the rules
didn't make it to the showroom floor - exhaust and rear shock were
changeable, so they skimped there. Which would have been fine if they'd
sold it for 15K or so, but they didn't, they wanted ducati money for
something that was lower spec. I wanted one until i saw what the package was

Well, if Honda imitate Ducati, they go the whole hog, including the
    showroom price.
